Hey, it’s Jeffrey — back again!

Some days, I feel completely in control of my time.

Others? I look up at 3pm wondering what just happened.

So this week, I built a better system:

A simple, repeatable workflow with ChatGPT that helps me start the day focused and end it with clarity.

No productivity hacks. No hour-long planning sessions. Just one smart prompt to start focused and stay on track.

Here’s how to set it up:

⚙️ Step 1: Set Up Your Daily Workflow Prompt

This isn’t just a one-off query — it’s a repeatable workflow you’ll use every morning.

The goal? Start your day with structure, not stress.

Here’s the full prompt to paste into ChatGPT:

🧠 The AI-Powered Daily Workflow Prompt

“I want to use the AI-Powered Daily Workflow every morning. Please guide me through it by asking me the following, one at a time:

1. What are my top 3–5 tasks for today?

2. How long will each take?

3. What meetings or fixed calendar commitments do I already have?

4. If I only finish one task today, which one makes the day feel like a win?

5. How am I feeling, and what kind of day do I want to create?

6. Where can I protect 60–90 minutes for focused, deep work?

After we go through those, build me a realistic daily schedule that:

– includes my meetings

– time-blocks my tasks

– protects a 30-minute lunch

– includes a deep work block

– and checks if I’m overbooked, adjusting if needed.

Finally, at the end of the day at 4:00p, prompt me with:

What worked, what didn’t, and what’s the first thing I should tackle tomorrow?”

💡 Pro Tip:

Keep this ChatGPT conversation and update the same one each day. Each day, begin with:

“Start my AI-Powered Daily Workflow for today.”

That’s it. Your day begins with clarity instead of chaos.

🤖 Step 2: Try Your AI Workflow in Action

Once you’ve saved your daily workflow prompt, it’s go time.

You’ll go through your personalized check-in one question at a time — it only takes about 5 minutes.

Here’s the start of how mine looked:

ChatGPT responded with a realistic schedule that looked like this:

ChatGPT then responds with a clean, doable schedule that includes time blocks, buffers, and even a fallback plan in case things shift.

It’s like having an AI project manager… who doesn’t micromanage.

🔁 Step 3: Reflect and Reset in 60 Seconds at End of the Day

At the end of the day, ChatGPT should ask you:

“What worked, what didn’t, and what’s the first thing I should tackle tomorrow?”

ChatGPT will automatically remind you at 4:00 p.m.

It helps you:

  • Close out the day

  • Spot patterns (what’s working, what’s not)

  • Make tomorrow easier before it even starts

💡 Pro Tip: You can also ask it to track your wins across the week — and give you a quick Friday recap.

💡 One Smart Read:

Whether you’re automating emails, summarizing docs, or just trying to stay focused, there’s probably a trick here you haven’t seen yet.

Skim it and steal a few ideas.
